Polo Academy 

The Polo Academy offers bespoke tuition in a fun & friendly atmosphere with qualified HPA instructors for all ages and ability.

 

Whether it is your very first time on a horse, a more experienced player looking to take part in practice matches or anything in between, we are able to offer a diverse range of options which can be fully customised to meet your needs

 

There is no need to have any previous riding experience and all equipment will be provided.

 

Ponies will be carefully selected to suit your experience and ability.

 

Private Lesson

 

During a private lesson you will receive one to one instruction tailored to you working towards your personal goals.

 

Shared/Group Lesson

 

Group lessons are a great opportunity to play with friends or to train as a team.  All lessons will be customised to suit your needs, whether you are a group of friends starting up, working on initial riding and swing work or an established team working on set plays and team tactics.

 

We can cater for groups of 2 – 6 in a session.

 

Instructional chukkas

 

Instructional chukkas are a fantastic way to progress once you have mastered the art of riding for polo and hitting the ball. Instructional chukkas provide the perfect setting for you to learn more about the rules and tactics of the game in a controlled and safe environment. Our coaches will play with you providing instruction along the way.

 

Practice matches

 

Our Pro/Am practice matches are extremely popular.  Run 3 or 4 times a week they are a fantastic environment to train as a Pro/Am combination or as a team.  We understand the importance of putting the right combinations and opposition together to ensure maximum value and enjoyment.
